Custom Vehicles

Project-based wiring harnesses for specially equipped vehicles where standard solutions fall short.

Custom vehicle harnessing means designing and building a system around the vehicle and the customer request when standard solutions are not enough. It starts with analysing the electrical requirements and setting the current capacity of every wire, then planning routes and the points where pinching or abrasion could occur.

Materials are chosen for the operating environment: silicone or PTFE insulated cable in the engine bay, XLPE where chemical resistance is needed. Every wire is marked, connectors and fixings are selected for requirements such as water and dust protection, and the harness goes through electrical, mechanical and environmental tests.
